Is the future already secured for Real Madrid?

The transfer window reopened on the 10th of June and in the usual fashion, some high-profile transfers of the summer had been concluded in the back room before that date, one of the most notable transfers of the window so far was the transfer of Aurelien tchouameni from Monaco to Real Madrid who is notorious for making at least one big signing almost every window.

The 22-year-old French fast-rising star was the subject of many headlines in recent weeks after the stellar season he had at Monaco, helping his team finish 3rd place and return to the champions league. Eventually, the preferred move for tchouameni was to Los Blanco's for a reported fee of almost £100m, an initial fee of £68.3m with guaranteed add-ons of £17.1m another further close to £10m fee for ‘easily achievable’ clauses and a balloon d'or clause for if he finishes in the top 3 of the award and another particular clause for if he ends up winning the award. Tchouameni arrives at Real Madrid as their second signing of the season after Rudiger who they got from Chelsea as a free transfer.

With the addition of such a fine young talent to the ranks who comes with a bit of experience at the ripe age of 22 and the renewal of Modric's contract for an additional year, Real Madrid's midfield options for next season appear to be bountiful with a proper mix of experience and youth with a truckload of talent, what it's left to be seen is the implementation of the young midfielder into their system and if the signing will prove to be good in years to come.

However, Do you think the transfer might be a little overpriced? Let us know in the comments.
