FPL GAME WEEK 2 PREVIEW

Game week 1 was definitely worth the wait. The EPL got to a flying start and we could not have been happier that our darling Club Football is back. Game week 2 is here and here is what to expect.

Aston Villa v Everton: Two teams that have started the season on the wrong foot and will be looking to restart and reset in this fixture. Who’s going to take this chance for redemption and use it to their advantage? We find out as we bank on;

Aston Villa: Coutinho (7.0m), Watkins (7.5m), and Martinez (5.0m).

Everton: Gray (5.5m), Gordon (5.5m), Mc Neil (5.5m)

Arsenal v Leicester: Expected to be a thrilling match, one with many goals as these two clubs tend to always put on a show. The Arsenal stocks would be of higher preference in this fixture owing to home advantage and current form.

Arsenal: Saka (8.0m), Jesus (8.0m), and Martinelli (6.0m).

Leicester: Maddison (8.0m), Barnes (7.0m), Vardy (9.5m).

Southampton v Leeds: With the home team coming from a gruesome defeat, and the away team marking a win last weekend. Both teams will be looking to salvage any available point in this fixture this weekend. Players expected to deliver are;

Southampton: Ward-Prowse (6.5m), Adams (6.5m), El-younussi (5.5m)

Leeds: Harrison (6.0m), Rodrigo (6.0m), Bamford (7.5m)

Brighton v Newcastle: Both teams have started strongly and will be looking to extend the run for another week. However, only one of them will edge and it depends on whose stocks come to prove their worth this weekend. The best bets are;

Brighton: Trossard (6.5m), Welbeck (6.5m), Dunk (4.5m)

Newcastle: Saint-Maximin (6.5m), Wilson (7.5m), Bruno (6.0m)

Man City vs Bournemouth: this is a clash of best assets returns against good bargains with some prospects. My picks are;

Man city: Haaland 11.6m, Kdb 12m, Cancelo 7.0m

Bournemouth: Kelly 4.5m, Lerma 5.0m, Moore 5.5m

Wolves vs Fulham: safe to say both teams look more fascinating in attack compared to the defence based on what we saw in Gw 1. My picks are;

Wolves: Neto 5.5m, Podence 5.5m, Hwang 6.5m

Fulham: Mitrovic 6.5m, Kebano 5.5m, Andreas 4.5m

Brentford vs Man Utd: We can say Brentford still has the attacking threat like they always had, but the same can't be said about man utd despite the low-priced assets. My picks are;

Brentford: Toney 7.0m, Dasilva 4.5m, Mbuemo 6.0m

Man utd: Sancho 7.5m, Rashford 6.5m, Fernandes 10.0m.

Nottingham Forest: Their premier league return wasn’t one to look back on as they lost to Newcastle a week ago. West Ham lost to the league champions which comes as no surprise and they’ll be looking to reinvigorate themselves with a win.

Nottingham Forest: Awoniyi 6.0m, Lingard 6.0m, Johnson 6.0m

Bowen 8.5m, Antonio 7.5m, Cresswell 5.0m

Chelsea vs Spurs; They both won comfortably last week. And they’ll both be looking to continue the campaign with a win here. Sadly, only one can be victorious

Picks are; Chelsea: Sterling 10.0m, James 6.0m, Havertz 8.0m.

Spurs: Son 12.0m, Kulusevski 8.1m, Emerson Royal 5.0m.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace: Liverpool didn’t really get the job done as we expected them to as they were held to a stalemate by newly promoted side Fulham. They’ll now host Palace who’s looking for their first point this campaign as they lost to Arsenal last time out.

Liverpool: Salah 13.0m, Trent 7.5m, Nunez 9.0m

Crystal Palace: Zaha 7.0m, Ayew 5.5m, Edouard 5.5m.

That’s all for now folks. See y’all next week and do have a great GW okay?
